Portraits

For me, photographing someone is a way of connecting with another person. It is an intimate experience, a private exchange. Together, cooperatively, my subject and I suspend time to be with each other. When I look at the portraits I have made over the years, I feel each one with my heart as much as I see it with my eyes.
